We also offer Cava seminars in the Taiwan Wine Academy (the most important and prestigious wine school in Taiwan). This school also collaborates with other prestigious world wine growing zones such as France or Italy and we also collaborate with the WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust in London).
These courses are aimed at professionals and also at final consumers (wine lovers) and they achieve a very successful turnout every year.
These courses organized by the Board of the Cava Institut and sponsored by the Cava Regulatory Council (Consejo Regulador del Cava) target wine educators and the objective is to widen their knowledge in Cava, so that they can apply this knowledge in their professional life and act as an ambassador in the spread of the Cava culture.
This educational facet started in 2011and up till now 117 educators have been formed in 10 promotions. As a result hundreds of pupils from CHR schools, sommelier associations and wine professionals are receiving education in Cava.
The participants who wish to obtain the Cava Educator Diploma, awarded by the Cava Institute, have to present at the end of the course a final discussion paper on specific themes proposed. The papers presented are evaluated by a committee of experts made up of technical experts from the Cava Institute and the Cava Regulatory Council. The pupils who do not complete the final paper receive a participation certificate.
